While F Bar Longhorns started purchasing Registered Texas Longhorns in 2007,
the love with the Longhorn started a long time ago.

As a child growing up in Texas, my family raised Texas Longhorns as a part time
business in the 1980s under the name “Cripple Creek Cattle Company”.  This
gave me a great opportunity to learn the outdoors and appreciate all that the country
has to offer.  We had quite a few nice ones, such as Big Mac.  While I
don’t have any pictures from back then, the memories remain.

During the early 1990s, Lee attended and graduated from The University of Texas
at Austin.  As a proud Longhorn student and fan, The University experience
is one that will never be forgotten.

In 2006, the F Bar Ranch was purchased in Burnet County near a small town named
Oakalla.  Oakalla is located in Central Texas centered between Lampasas, Briggs,
Copperas Cove and Florence.  Nestled within one hour of Austin, it provides
a great escape from the day to day city life and has been the foundation of the
F BAR Longhorns.

Now, it is time to continue the tradition of the Texas Longhorn.  Give us
a call and come on by!!!

About the Brand

While traveling for Dell in India, I ran across a bar in the Le Meridian hotel
in Bangalore. The name of the bar was “F BAR”, short for Fashion Bar owned by Fashion
TV.  Spending many hours there after long hours at the office, I thought it appropriate
to recognize the India influence in my job and tie the ranch name to Falkenhagen.
